The CFA qualification is the gold standard for the investment industry. Acquire it and you’ll significantly enhance your career prospects across the global marketplace. Employers recognize the CFA charter as the definitive standard by which to measure the competence, integrity, and dedication of serious investment professionals. Employers and clients increasingly require professionals who demonstrate a competence in implementing international investment strategies.

Entrance requirements

  • Have a bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree
  • or be in the final year of your bachelor’s degree program at the time of registration*
  • or have four years of professional work experience (does not have to be investment related)
  • or have a combination of professional work and college experience that totals at least four years. Part-time positions do not qualify, and the four-year total must be accrued prior to enrollment.

Fees
The tuition fee for the CFA Level 1 Preparation Course starting in January 2016 is €2,500 (excluding CFA exam fee).

Exam fees and other expenses charged by the CFA Institute for the CFA exam are not included in the aforementioned tuition. Click here for CFA exam registration details.

The fee covers the whole program including course, mock exam, instructors handouts and use of the Amsterdam Business School facilities.

Applications received before 1 November 2015 are eligible for an Early Bird discount of €500.

The hand-outs that are provided during the course include questions and answers. The mock exam at the end of the Level 1 training also provides a wealth of practical exercises.  (The mock exam is 120 questions and answers.)

For students that are working in the Netherlands, the fee is tax-deductible.
