AN Valuations completes Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) relating to the acquisition of a United States cloud commerce platform provider

“There is power in numbers”. This is the mantra behind a New York Stock Exchange listed Brazilian digital commerce platform that acquired a US competitor in early 2021. By combining technologies, back office and customers, the group was able to realize a winning combination.

AN Valuations was requested to conduct a Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) relating to this transaction.  Simply put, PPA is a revaluation of the target company’s balance sheet, recognition of new assets and liabilities and a calculation of residual goodwill.  Purchase Price Allocation is required by accounting regulations when one business acquires another.

Timeframes were demanding and the transaction was complex. Due to AN Valuations’ experience with Purchase Price Allocations and complex projects, AN Valuations was able to complete this service in record time whilst providing the client with practical advice relating to the treatment of the transaction.
