In July 2021, Halo Technology Group (now a subsidiary of Amphenol Corporation (NYSE:APH)) announced the completion of multiple acquisitions including Netherlands-based Solid Optics and Alturna. Solid Optics and Alturna are global providers of optical transceivers, high-speed cabling, multiplexers, and OADMs, serving data centers, service providers, telecommunications providers and commercial organizations throughout UK, Europe, and the US.
AN Valuations was asked to conduct Purchase Price Allocations (PPA) relating to these transactions. In a purchase price allocation, the price paid is split up between the acquired assets and liabilities with the remainder recorded as goodwill. Purchase Price Allocation is required by accounting regulations when one business acquires another.
AN Valuations has been conducting PPA’s and other types of valuations for public and private companies for more than a decade. Individual transaction sizes supported by AN Valuations have ranged up to EUR 1.1 billion. Powered by our internally developed Dragonfly PPA software, AN Valuations delivers lightning fast and accurate PPA results.
